Timeless Value Investing Principles of Low-Risk and Long-Term Capital Growth Built on Trust.
My name is David Thomas and I am the editor of Shares and Stock Markets a value-orientated stock market investing website for private investors who want to create wealth over the long term, typically for retirement.
I also write and publish The Thomas Value Report (launching May 2017) – a premium investment newsletter that includes weekly briefings, a model portfolio and more.
In addition to trustworthy partnerships and timeless investing principles, I believe passionately in empowering investors with the market insights that broaden investment horizons whilst maintaining capital preservation.
I am also 100% sure that wealth inequality would be be significantly reduced if people switched focus from short term results to a long-term approach.

thirty forty something husband and a father of two and I live and work in the UK and have been investing in US and UK stocks since 2001.
The Shares and Stock Markets Strategy
At their core the Shares and Stock Markets strategies can be described as based on old-school Grahamite value-orientated investing.
In plain English I buy the stock of listed usually mid to large cap companies when my research determines them to be undervalued relative to their intrinsic value and sell them when they reach intrinsic value.
In 2012 I launched The Shares and Stock Markets Blog to focus on all things stock market investing and to share my experiences.
Shares and Stock Markets.com
The Shares and Stock Markets Blog is where I share all of my stock market opinions and articles.
I use the investment style of Ben Graham looking at balance sheet strength and visibility of earnings with an emphasis on developed market (US and UK ) mid to large cap stocks.
Whereas Graham preferred the group approach towards the end of his investing life I’m happy to buy stocks on an individual basis to make up a diversified group.
The Shares and Stock Markets Blog takes a ‘do it yourself’ approach by providing information and resources to help investors increase their chances of stock markets success sharing independent stock market analysis and opinion.
I am not registered with the Financial Conduct Authority of The United Kingdom, the Securities and Exchange Commission of the United States or any other financial regulatory authority in any other jurisdiction.
The content on this blog is not investment advice it is merely opinion and you should always do your own research.
